HerdHarbor policies

Terms of Service

Effective August 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of HerdHarbor. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use HerdHarbor.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, activity under your account, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

The service

HerdHarbor provides livestock and farm recordkeeping tools. Features may change, especially during testing and pre-release periods. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

Your records and responsibility

You retain ownership of information you enter. You grant HerdHarbor and its service providers a limited right to host, process, transmit, and back up that information solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for record accuracy, lawful collection and sharing of customer or animal data, and maintaining exports appropriate to the importance of your records.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, access another person’s account, interfere with security, upload malicious content, violate law or third-party rights, reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law permits, or use HerdHarbor to facilitate fraud or harm.

No veterinary or other professional advice

HerdHarbor, including its symptom guide, provides recordkeeping and general educational information only. HerdHarbor is not a veterinary provider, veterinarian, emergency service, or animal-health authority. The symptom guide does not diagnose, treat, prescribe for, or replace examination and care by a licensed veterinarian. Symptom matches may be incomplete, inaccurate, or caused by multiple conditions. Contact a licensed veterinarian for every animal-health concern; seek emergency veterinary help immediately for severe or rapidly worsening signs, and contact the appropriate animal-health authority when a reportable or contagious disease may be involved. Do not delay professional care because of information in HerdHarbor. HerdHarbor also does not provide medical, legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, or financial advice. Verify important decisions with qualified professionals and maintain any records required by law in an appropriate system.

Pre-release service and availability

During testing, the service may contain errors, lose connectivity, or change without notice. Offline copies and cloud sync reduce risk but are not a substitute for regular user-controlled backups. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Intellectual property

HerdHarbor’s software, branding, design, and original content are owned by HerdHarbor or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

Termination and deletion

You may stop using HerdHarbor at any time and request deletion at herdharbor.com/delete-account. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HerdHarbor disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost records, profits, revenue, animals, production, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be sent to hello@herdharbor.com.
