What to know before testing.
What species can I track now?
The current build includes rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, horses, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, and an Other category for custom animals.
Are my records synced?
Yes. The tester build uses secure accounts and cloud sync, with a local recovery copy when available. Because HerdHarbor is still pre-alpha, testers should also export regular JSON backups.
What can I import or export?
You can export and restore complete JSON backups, download budget records as CSV, attach pedigree source images or PDFs, and print pedigrees or save them as PDF.
How much will HerdHarbor cost?
Final pricing has not been announced. The guiding promise remains fair, transparent pricing without an extreme jump simply because a user has more animals.
Is HerdHarbor finished?
Not yet. Version 0.2.12 is an active pre-alpha tester build. Core workflows are working, but features and designs may change as issues are fixed and tester feedback is applied.
