Free Adult is account protection, not a signup plan. It cannot be selected when creating an account. It is applied automatically to an eligible adult account when Member access ends, including when the initial Member trial expires without a paid subscription or after a paid Member subscription later ends. Its purpose is to preserve the animals and records already in HerdHarbor. A temporary payment failure can remain in the provider retry/past-due lifecycle and does not by itself mean the account has entered Free Adult.

Free Adult is not a signup plan; it is the automatic fallback for an eligible adult account after Member access ends, including trial expiration without a paid subscription or the later end of a paid Member subscription. Business is still in development, and Founder pricing is reserved for eligible Founder accounts rather than offered as a public signup plan.
