v1.8.1 focuses on launch readiness around accounts and subscriptions while keeping HerdHarbor’s established livestock-management engines intact.
Subscriptions are ready for launch
HerdHarbor now has checkout, billing status, cancellation/reactivation, Customer Portal access, paid-entitlement synchronization, and launch-trial enforcement.
Referral rewards are built in
Every eligible account can use a public Referral ID. A referral qualifies after the referred Member’s first successful monthly renewal, and every five qualified referrals earns one Member-month credit.
Safer account registration
New signup includes an adult account-holder age gate, required account attestations, youth-supervision language, profile controls, and additional abuse/fraud safeguards.

The current launch policy provides Member-level trial access through September 30. Beginning October 1, accounts without a paid or other qualifying entitlement fall back to Junior rather than losing their records.

A referred Member must complete their first successful monthly renewal before the referral qualifies. Every five qualified referrals earns one stackable Member-month credit.
Can HerdHarbor diagnose an animal?
No. HerdHarbor is not a veterinary provider. Health and symptom tools are for recordkeeping and education and do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
